I’m sure you have already seen the various posts around the web about Nokia ditching the Ovi Brand, and I just wanted to say, about bloody time too!
I never really understood the brand in the first place. Nokia is Nokia, and anything they have, build, run should be proudly branded with NOKIA!
Great move Nokia, lets hope this is the first in many early steps in a positive direction for the company, and that does not include selling your mobile division to Microsoft either, so please prove the rumors of this latter subject to be false, please.
Yes, you guessed it, Eldar is up to it again, and posted a couple of updates to twitter sticking the knife in where it hurts with these two bold statements..
Now if the above does indeed happen for arguments sake, what would the sale of the Nokia Mobile Division really mean? Will the amazing hardware, optics, and endless device functionality be decided, and built by Microsoft, not Nokia? If this is the case, I feel like someone has pissed on my bonfire!
We will all know the outcome soon enough I guess.
